Oof, I’m not sure about Rodgers. He definitely still shows flashes, but he’s broken down so can’t move well and is sometimes erratic with his throws. His awareness and decision making still seem pretty solid but I’m starting to wonder if that is enough.

Here’s my bold prediction from April 2023:

I’ll make the bold prediction that Rodgers flops* this year in NY. Because of Brady’s remarkable longevity, it feels less remarkable for a 40+ year old QB to be elite, but I suspect that Rodgers’ best years are now behind him and last year was less of a fluke and more of a harbinger. Add to that having to learn a new system after nearly 2 decades in the same one, with mostly new teammates on a (let’s face it) historically dysfunctional franchise, and I believe he will struggle. Obviously, Rodgers’ year last year was nonexistent, so not everything applies, but yeah, I never thought he would be the savior that Jets’ fans were craving (and that all the pundits were predicting). So far for everything they’ve invested in Rodgers, the Jets have netted 2 wins over 23 games.
