NFL Cuisine – Post your Regional recipe

Myron,

Are they still making City Brew??

I heard it was shutdown. It came about in a discussion as to why a bar did not have Old Style on tap.

You’re close to the border over there. Know any Minnesota strays that could point you to a good recipe. Otherwise we are doing San Antonio recipes(Their future home city).

Just say no to Lutefisk!

The Dave-Guy is working for you. I just contacted my brother in Indianapolis and commissioned him to find some Indy recipes. He just moved there a couple years ago, so it may take him some time to find an authentic foodstuff, but I’ll let you know as soon as I hear from him.

Phoenix game, you have to eat grilled rattlesnake. It tastes like chicken.

That would be MN

Of course, you could cross the border and attempt to land some walleye, but I’m not so sure that a mere Cheesehead would succeed

:: fleeing before I have to defend my favorite team’s rep for choking ::

…but before I flee, one small hijack…

YAY!!! I’m not the only one who remembers this show with with much affection!!

The distinctive aroma wafting around tailgate parties for the San Francisco 49ers will be goose. Cooked.

Unabashed BUMP.

Still need help for Tampa, Miami, Indy and Detroit among others.

All suggestions are still welcome for the other games also.

Have no idea since the closest team to me would be the Redskins, please! But I have thrown and been to Superbowl parties where we had things like…

Chili
Pork BBQ with slaw
Italian sausage subs with pepper and onions
hot wings
tater salad
cole slaw
macaroni salad
steamed shrimp or oysters
and lots of Budweiser

The big thing (according to my friend) at San Fran games are deep fried turkeys. I’m serious.

As there aren’t any 'Skins games on your list I’ll hold back on my regional recipes (sardines & pork & beans, anyone?) but Carolina is definitely pulled BBQ with a vinegar based BBQ sauce.
