Before someone rips me…yeah, I know Farv hasn’t missed a start in a whole bunch of games. He just seems to have been missing for much of the year. (I drafted him as my first QB in my fantasy league. Mistake.)
Yah think!! For the Chris sakes I could go out there and drop easy balls and get 15 yard penalties for 1/4 of what Freeman makes. Espy award winning play or not last week, his future in G.B. is in doubt IMHO.
::sigh:: I missed the whole game (I was up in Philly, but out with some friends. I heard all about it on the radio, though.)
Until exactly one week has passed from your first post with this sig, mouthbreather, your sig will state:
Please note which words to bold, and I hope you post a lot this week with it.
GO EAGLES!!!
Ok, all you teams with weak offenses who could use a quality QB - take note! Yesterday’s game was all Trent Green. 5 TDs for the Rams, 4 were TD passes and Green rushed for the 5th TD. Too bad we’re not gonna be able to keep him as backup next year (I’m surprised we fit him under the cap for this year). But we can’t afford two QBs and Kevin Carter still wants a long term contract, so After this season, expect to see Green on the trading block. Hopefully he can go somewhere and be a starter (I feel kinda bad for the guy, all those years as a backup, he gets his starting job, gets injured, then loses his starting job and is a backup again.)
It was also nice to see the defense show up and play a couple downs this game. Maybe they’ll show up again next week and stick around a little longer (was it me or did the Rams defense miss a lot of tackles yesterday?)
Ok, Falcon, NOW I’m ready to trash talk with you about the 'Skins.
Okay, this isn’t looking good. 8-6 going into tonight and I have no idea how I’ll get my dog to make picks.
Even though I can’t stand them, my vote for play of the week goes to the Cowboys. That fake field goal from the one was a thing of beauty.
That injury to Ricky Williams could be devastating to the Saints’ season. Just as having a passing game this year opened things up a little more for him, having him run the way he has opened things up for the rest of the offense.
A little salt in the Fantasy football wound there or what Gazoo. So I guess my reliance on the Saints offensive juggernaut may be over.
That almost makes you as lucky as it makes the Rams. Let’s see what piece of scrap I can find that is still out there at running back. Rassafrassa!!!
This is going to be a good week! I’ll be enjoying this sig until 10:49am on Monday the 20th. Of course, I’ll be in Sweden then, so I’ll be enjoying it until 4:49pm on Monday.
Ahh, I love my Eagles!
How 'bout them Bears!?!? Fucking turf, when are they going to ban that stuff in outdoor environments? Sure I’d like to see it gone all together, but I don’t see any domes taking the leap to growing grass indoors soon. (It can be done). I suppose the league is all about protecting players when it means they get to fine defenders tens of thousands of dollars, but when it might actually cost the owners a few bucks it doesn’t seem likely to happen.
I just gotta know - are there any Chargers fans here? How painful is their season so far?
Not sure how the fans feel, Crunchy Frog, but you’ve gotta love the comments at The Huddle regarding their QB injuries:
Sledman - why do I get the idea that Chad Morton may suddenly become very active on Fantasy Football wiaver wires everywhere?
Monty, my bet is that you’ll have more pleasant things to enjoy in Sweden than gloating over mouthbreather’s sig.
Have a great trip!
You know, RTF, I was gonna make a nasty comment with something about my sig and the Sweden trip, but decided against it.
I’ve really gotta work on my sour-graping.
Well, since you guys resurrected this thread, I’ll go ahead and add a comment.
Thank God the Broncos won, as I was really wondering how I’d find a way to get my dog to make the picks. He doesn’t exactly have a very long attention span.
Gazoo: I’m sure you’ll bounce back this week, but I’ll help you out…
RTFirefly: True, very true… But, it’s nice to know that things back home will be going nicely.
mouthbreather: I like the sig, don’t change a thing.
Foul!!
Foul!!!
Where’s the sig. on this post mouthbreaker?
Although I understand where you are coming from. How many times do the Steelers have to get screwed this year? Of course Philly got “jobbed” against Washington but that’s another story.
And…why yes…yes I am the Friggin’ Sig. Police…
Oh blow me, sledman.
I am certainly not going to use this sig 100% of the time, just as I don’t use my old sig 100% of the time. Once per thread is typically enough, and I even used it twice in this thread to make Montfort happy.
30% of the time, so far.
