My {\color{blue}\mathbf{GIANTS}} are well on their way to the #1 at this point. 10 straight losses, effectively no quarterback and the only team with only 2 wins.
So while I think the Giants will hold the line and get the #1 pick, will they put it to good use?
What is the opinion here of Shedeur Sanders? Will he make a good NFL quarterback?
Any quarterback taken in the first few picks will be wildly overdrafted. This is not a strong class.
I’d kind of rather the Giants somehow manage to get Kirk Cousins on a reasonable contract. Or some other vet like that. Really I’m just looking for Kerry Collins 2.0.
Any thoughts on what the draft looks like for Tackles? Patriots desperately need a franchise LT out of this next draft (among many other things). They should be picking second or third when all is said and done.
It might make sense (well, Giants-type sense, anyway) to not select a “top” QB this time out, instead stink again next year, get the #1 pick and select Arch Manning.
Most pundits think this is a guard class. Last year was an all-time class for tackle prospects by various metrics, and this year… Isn’t. It looks like much more of a defensive year.
