I was listening to the Seahawks game on the radio. I heard the last play as a safety which should be two points and the game continues but the officials called the game over. What happened?
Go Bengals! Way to overcome the adversity of being sacked seven times (!!!) and playing a road game in New York on an emotional day. There was even a Margus Hunt sighting doing something beneficial!
And AJ Green is a monster.
Wow Terrance Williams is going to beat himself up over that last play for a while. Why turn it inside? He should’ve easily made the sideline. Another good ending (this time the way I wanted).

I was thinking Cowboys didn’t need Romo, but that last play … a veteran QB would have reminded his receivers what they needed to do.

As I understand it, most of the team stood with their arms linked together.
Tannehill was standing on the half-yard line, Avril came up, gave him a hug, and laid him down a half-yard over the big G. It may be that it was not recorded as a safety because it started outside the endzone and Avril was the only impetus for it going over the line. Or maybe the zebras said, fuck it, 2 points will not affect the outcome or any bets on the line, we just wanna get outta this noisy place.
Blount is a beast. He just pretty much carried half the AZ defense into the end zone on a 7-yard run up the middle.
