Nice work calling a timeout on a 3rd and 18… In order to run a give-up draw. Really fucking stupid. One more Chicago score and this one is done.
That’s ballgame. Damn.
Gotta start recovering some of these fumbles. The Eagles are trying to collapse and we need to help them out.
That was big. Gotta like that, another time consuming offensive possession and we got this one.
Rams are working on getting the road win monkey off their backs.
Stupid, stupid, stupid penalty.
Yep. Plenty of bad luck to go with bad performances. Dismal season. At least we get to look forward to Hurney completely blowing the #1 pick next year!
That’s a bullshit no call. Sims should have been dinged for 15.
What the FUCK! Sims must have something on those asshole refs. Gets away with a blatant PI.
I didn’t see it that way at all. The receiver rolled out of bounds on his own before being touched by anyone. If you want to call anything lucky, the fact that they managed to complete a pass with no timeouts and the clock expiring with a rookie QB was what was lucky. They should have won that game.
Though I’m stuck in St. Louis, I still read the Denver Post online. It’s going to be interesting tomorrow to read both sides of this game.
And regardless of my intense and long-standing dislike for the Rams, I’ve got to admit, they’ve got a quarterback who looks like he’s going to turn into the real thing.
If they blow this game…
Wow. Ricky Williams is still in the NFL?
Julius Peppers is a freak of nature.
Ok, not going for that touchdown is really really stupid.
The defender’s leg touched the receiver when he was on the ground before he got out of bounds - and as far as I know, any contact between a defender and a ball carrier when the ball carrier is on the ground is down by contact. So the clock should’ve kept running.
Fuck. Can’t have that, offense should be able to burn this clock though.
Big win. All alone in first place. Put on a clinic today and announced our presence to the league. Bring it.
Can anyone explain what they meant when Johnny Knox “gave himself up” after catching the onside kick attempt?
Can anyone explain why CBS wasn’t able to broadcast the Steelers-Bills overtime?
Must have been a regional thing - I saw the entire game.
The replays I saw didn’t make it at all clear whether or not there was contact prior to the receiver rolling out of bounds, so I think that call could have legitimately gone either way.
