NFL Week 13

Very kind of Peyton to split his TD passes between Colts and Cowboys players to keep the game interesting.

WTF? John Skelton as QB for the Cardinals in regular season?

The Bucs’ and Bolts’ alternates are awesome. The Bears throwbacks a few weeks ago were pretty strong too. The Packers on the other hand…

When talking about the games in your post unless the teams tank in the up coming weeks it really comes down to this week. Pittsburgh has the Jets still to play so they have a tough game still ahead so they really need to win today. While the Ravens have an easier schedule ahead of them.

On the more important side the one the count to me being a Pats fan it is do or die on Monday night to have a solid spot. The odds of the Jets losing to the fins or the Bills is slim and a division loss is what the Pats need to have the division title. And the Pats still have the Packers to play and that will not be an easy win. Yet the Jets do have to play Pittsburgh and the Pats did beat them that doesn't mean that Jets can do the same. Any given Sunday....

Is that what you were looking for??

A team that has fans wearing cheese head hats, is hardly the place to seek sartorial splendor.

Ray Rice seems to have turned into a decent blocking back.

Packers throwback uniforms were sweet. Driver’s touchdown catch and run was even sweeter.

Watch how awesome Peyton Hillis is before the dicks at the NFL take the video down.

The Arizona Cardinals walk into a bar…

And all the seats are filled with Cincinnati Bengals players!

For some reason, Hester keeps getting tackled or pushed out of bounds by the punter. One of these days, he’s going to make the guy miss, I just want it to be sooner than later.

I don’t understand why lots of folks are making such a big deal out of the roughing play on Cutler. It was an iffy call, but it harldy seemed to decide the game. It went from 2nd and 2 on the 14 to 1st and goal on the 7. Besides, the Bears defense had woken up by then and the Bears offense was moving the ball well and could have scored on the final drive if they needed it.

As a Bears fan I am not proud of the win, but when they needed to do something they did it: holding Detroit to 3 after the fumble, getting a big firstdown to seal the win, etc.

I thought looking at it in real time that it was a foul - it looked like a forearm shot to the back of the head. It was only after they slowed it down and looked at it from a couple of different angles that it looked iffy. And it sounded to me like the color guy in the booth was pretty much rooting for the Lions for most of the game, so his reaction to that was a bit over the top. But you’re right - it wasn’t nearly the pivotal penalty that it was made out to be in any case.

And I as a Bears fan am proud of that win. Detroit is a much tougher team than their record would indicate. Aside from that total breakdown at the end of the first half, the defense played them pretty well, and the offense has been looking a lot better since the bye week. That’s the kind of game that good teams have to find a way to win, and this team over the past couple of seasons probably would have found a way to piss it away.

Now it gets really tough. Pats, Vikings, Jets, Packers. At least they have the Pats and Jets at home. And the Packers don’t exactly have a cakewalk ahead of them.

Omg going for it on 4th and 3 worst coach evar!!!1

Wait no it worked so GENIUS!!1

Ouch. I am not even a Jets fan and I am feeling sorry for them so far.

I could care less about the Patriots, but I’m glad to see the Jets getting their Hard Knocks tonight.

This is probably a boring game for the rest of the country, but for this Pats fan it is one of the most satisfying wins I’ve ever watched. Hope you’re having fun, Rex!

How does he like Woodhead now?

Heartless performance by the Jets.

Hopefully there will be a repeat in two weeks. That would make me very happy.
