NFL Week 14

And he’s opposing Romo, who has a perma-smirk that evokes the same urge from me. Except I want to punch Romo, not a kitten.

Good game, Vikings. You guys played well, particularly in the second half, and we…just couldn’t pass the ball, which has been happening for a long enough stretch of games now that it’s quite disconcerting, heading as we are into the playoffs (allegedly).

You are underestimating the Packers, I think. They have gotten better as the year has worn on.

Please beat the Steelers. Seeing their rapid decline is a rare treat. Thanks.

Whoop! Less then 2 minutes and the Chargers are rolling towards another win. Next up, the Bungles. Bring it, Cincy!:);):)

Grr. No help from the stupid Cowboys. And I can’t for the life of me figure out how we pick off Manning 3 times, set an NFL record for most receptions, and still bloody lose.

At least we get Oakland next week.

Go Cincy! :stuck_out_tongue:

I’m watching NBC’s internet feed of the SNF game. It’s actually better than the TV feed, since you can choose from 5 cameras, including the skycam/cablecam which is superior to the typical media box cameras. And it’s the full game, not the NFL networks 10 minutes game-20 minutes blowhard ratio.

I have some latency problems every few seconds if I do anything else at all. Nothing major, just some skipping. It is way, way superior to the TV broadcast though.

I’ve had no buffering/latency issues at all. It’s not HD quality, but it’s a 1.5Mbs stream, probably roughly equal to SD (but looks worse since due to SD content looking crappier on high resolution monitors - some obvious compression artifacts too). Still it’s enough for me to be sitting here and not at the TV now.

Edit: The most annoying part is, like all other web based video, I can’t full screen on one monitor and use the other monitor for other stuff. As soon as I click anything it says “oh woops you’re doing something else, I’m going to un-maximize” even though what I did wasn’t on that monitor. Grr.

No buffering for me, just a skipped half second or two if I’m using my connection for anything else.

Yeah that’s annoying, but I’m more annoyed by not getting any replays, yet still hearing the announcers talk about them. Strange to have them go nuts over a replay while I’m watching someone on the sidelines give high fives.

Isotopes made up the gap with DeSean Jackson and has a 4 point lead now, and barring the unusual, the win. What a high scoring game, where the losing team puts up 126. Sucks for No Use, especially when he’d have beat either of the other opponents.

I have a very slim chance of being in this game - I need even more scoring from the Eagles, and then I need Vernon Davis to have a monstrous 30+ or 35+ point game. I give it maybe a 1/20 chance.

You could do what I’m doing: One monitor has the cable cam at nrmal size while the other has the main cam feed maximized. The main cam feed is HD btw. Best of both worlds!

That’s… not a bad idea. I didn’t realize you could have seperate feeds going. Thanks.

How do you actually load two seperate instances of the player? The “pick your camera angle” page that launches the player just links to a little javascript line which sends that data to the same video window, so opening new windows for it won’t work.

I picked Eddie Royal in the dynasty league over DeSean Jackson. How many times is that going to kick me in the balls?

FOR YEARS TO COME!

I love you, man.

ETA: Although I traded Brandon Marshall to Hamlet for nothing. :smack:

Remind me to send you a nice muffin basket. If it is any consolation, I owned Owen Daniels in both of my money leagues.

This game is unreal.

Try this out.

Awesome game.

Hey, look, there goes DeSean Jackson! I wonder if Bill Sheridan has realized that someone should cover him. Probably not. I hate football today.

Let’s go Giants. Huzzah.

I know I shouldn’t be nervous, but I’m hoping the Cardinals don’t play down to the level of their opponent tonight. With the Minnesota win, the Cards are probably looking at a 3rd or 4th seed in the playoffs. The next two games are very winnable against Detroit and St. Louis and then they close out the season at home against Green Bay.

The Cardinals need to clinch the NFC West tonight and then use the remainder of the season to make sure everyone is healthy and ready for the playoffs.

San Francisco is a bit of mystery as they’re not using Gore like they should.
