Nonsense! I declare a QB controversy in DC!
As a Buccaneers fan, I’m fine with that. One less wild card contender would be nice.
Anyone think Peterson catches Dickerson? (506 yds w/3 games left)
I don’t think he will, I think the Texans game will kill his chances. But I wouldn’t put it past him either.
snerk
Yeah, I think Seattle even managed to cover the spread.
If the Browns hadn’t blown all of those close games earlier in the year where they were the better team, they’d be right in the playoff hunt in a weak AFC this year. Kind of amazing. Very few plays from 10-6.
I think it speaks volumes about NFL football that so many teams are in the playoff hunt each year and that each game can come down to 4 or 5 plays that make the difference.
I think there are a few clearly very good teams (Pats, Texans, Packers, etc.), a few very bad teams (Chiefs, Jags, Cards), but a great majority of teams that are “in the hunt”. And a good draft, or a great QB, can take you from one group to the other quickly (Colts, Redskins). I think it’s one of the things that make NFL football one of the best sports in the world.
Apparently Wes Welker is 11 feet tall.
Well shit. I guess I can go to bed early tonight. Waddling Wade just can’t gameplan against elite QBs.
Certainly he is in the hearts of Pats fans.
Schuab is missing a shitload of throws.
But if not for that terrible pass interference call that bailed the Pats out of a third and long and allowed them to go up 21-0, we might have had a closer game.
For pool purposes, I need 45+ tonight. C’mon Brady…you’re good for another four TDs…
Maybe it’s just been the games I’ve seen this weekend, but I wonder if we’re looking at yet another Patriots/Giants Super Bowl?
Maybe closer but it wouldn’t make a damn of difference. That’s two horrible PI calls in favor of NE. But Schaub and Foster look Cardinalesque tonight. I expected Brady to put up 40, but the Texans offense looks tired and scared out there.
How many passes have the Pats receivers dropped tonight!? I can’t imagine what the score would be if they’d held onto those.
Well Brady has fifteen minutes to go. Score could still stretch into the fifties.
As I type another score. Make that sixties.
When you lose, lose hard.
Hope not!
Although I love any time the Pats win, that game turned out to be much less exciting than I anticipated.
But that’s a *good *thing.
