For Gruden to return, he’d want “total control”, he’s not coming back to be a co-ordinator.
The Bengals are biting hard on pump fakes and play actions, and it’s costing them.
Bryce Brown looks like he’s got a turbo button taped down that no one else’s controller even has. He’s a serious talent. Really exciting to watch!
Watching Brandon Tate, Burfict, and Pacman making just plain stupid mistakes (who catches a punt at the 1 yard line?) reminds me of the Bungles of old.
The Eagles’ Damaris Johnson fielded a punt at his own 2 (moving towards his end zone, no less) and ran it back for a touchdown against Dallas a couple weeks ago.
But the Eagles are a stupid team too, so… yeah.
What is it about national tv that makes the Bengals play so horribly? I just don’t get it. I can’t bring myself to watch the rest of this game.
Andy Dalton should name his first child AJ Green Dalton; he should build a monument to AJ Green outside every NFL stadium in the country, and should tithe 50% of his salary to AJ Green.
While I get Brown had fumbling issues, you’d think they could mention once the fact that the O-line were MIA on that play.
The Eagles are really getting into that Christmas spirit. Even Taylor Mays got a gift.
This has been as absolutely incredible, as unbelievable, as hilarious a sequence of hot fucking garbage as any in the history of the NFL. I’m certain of that.
The Eagles had one job to do. God they suck. But hey, DYNASTY!
Looks like Pittsburgh has to take care of business next week, because nobody else can.
Going into the game, the Eagles had only [del]two[/del] three healthy opening-day starters on offense. Not enough is made of that fact and you’ll rarely ever see such a disastrous bout with the injury bug.
Two of those remaining starters left tonight’s game with injury, too.
Marvin just signed an extension. If the Bengals make the playoffs, he will have led the team to two consecutive playoff appearances, which would be the first time since essentially forever. With Mike Brown being the overly loyal owner that he is, I don’t see Lewis getting fired. Zimmer still has time on his contract, not sure about Gruden. I don’t think Jay Gruden is ready to be a head coach yet. He was an Arena League coach two years ago.
Are you talking about John Gruden, or his brother Jay, the offensive coordinator of the Bengals?
I hate Brandon Tate. Burfict and Pacman however have played like studs this season, a couple minor gaffes aside. Adam Jones has been electrifying as a punt returner and has been gold as a 3rd CB, and Vontaze Burfict has been an amazing find given his UDFA status, and the fact that he’s a rookie.
The Bengals do seem to wilt under the bright lights. I have no idea why.
Maybe when AJ stops dropping sure TD passes like last Sunday than you can crown him. Crown his ass!
You guys will have your hands full on Sunday.
I second the motion.
Dalton’s kid and Ray Rice Flacco could be great friends.
Calvin Johnson Stafford as well.
Brandon Marshall Cutler will be hosting the party.
I think the Browns may get jobbed by the refs this weekend, the push to get RG3 and Luck in the playoffs from the league must be pretty strong. That’s probably paranoid.
Should be an interesting game, anyway. I’ve been meaning to watch more of RG3 this year since I’ve had a complete mancrush on him for about a year now.
Foiegras-I meant John, the MNF braodcaster. Forgot completely about his brother.
Huh, RG3 isn’t playing looks like. Browns win 4 in a row maybe?
