I imagine all eyes will be on the Sunday night game since Wilson and Kaepernick made that bet:

Thanks, SenorBeef!

Eyes on tonite’s game too, what with the history and trash talk between the two.

I don’t know about everyone else but for the most part this week looks much easier to pick than last. The three toughest calls for me are;
Car / Buf
Dal / KC and
SF / Sea. Agreed, this one should be another awesome game. It’ll be interesting to see what SF does differently than last year.

What the hell is going on in Tampa Bay? They lose in week one to the ugly Jets, they have a “players only” meeting after the loss, there are questions about the legitimacy of the voting for captains (Freeman loss his captainacy), and Josh Freeman doesn’t show up for the team photo.

I, for one, love seeing Schiano fail, and if he does so while losing his players and acting the fool, all the better. But right after week one is really fast to have these kinds of player problems. Could be fun to watch.

I really hope nobody thinks that TV commercial was real.

Someone will.

Pretty sure I’ve never seen a special teams return man forget to take the field before. I wouldn’t mind seeing the Jets steal one but damn, you gotta freakin’ show up.

What an ugly game. Dropped passes, penalties, bad tackling, missed opportunties, and just plain dumbass fuckups. Ugh.

A one-time plug for our NFL Betting contest.

It’s not time-intensive – basically, if you’re looking at the point spreadsand see something you like, just post it to the thread. And it’s a cheap way to make some lousy games more interesting; right now I’m watching my Over/Under bet on the Jets game (probably) going down in flames.

The rules are very simple, and in your first week you get an extra $3,000 to place futures bets, if you wish. You should stop by.

How long is this halftime? I’m watching online because my wife took the computer for Project Runway (erk), and it seems like the feed has been first half replays for half an hour.

Ugly ending. That late hit out of bounds was dirty, and should draw a fine. 2 Jets ejected in the fight afterwards…one was Ferguson, not sure who the other guy was.

Who in the hell was betting on the Pats at -12? I know the Jets aren’t good, and I even picked the Pats in Survival, but with the decimation of the NE offense and the weather, there was no way they were going to score that much.

You got that right. Edleman appears to be the only WR on the roster that can actually catch a football. Ridley did nothing much on the ground, and almost fumbled again. How long until they get Gronkowski back? I think Brady is almost ready to post bail for Hernandez…(yeah, I know they cut him, and rightly so, but still)

I think it was more about getting to bet AGAINST the Jets than it was getting to bet ON the Patriots. But yeah, I would want no part of Pats -12 here.

It will be interesting, I think, to see what the spread is like for the next Patriots game against the Bucs. Especially if they don’t get any players back on offense.

I think the bugs are going to surprise a lot of people this week when they beat the saints but I’d still expect the pats to be favored.

I am loving the term “Forty Whiners”. That is all.

I think in the midst of enjoying the game, we should all take a minute to reflect on the history of football.

Well, a team is a reflection of it’s coach, after all.

You think that moniker is a recent development?
