NFL Week 2

Since no one else started it, here we go:

Pittsburgh (6) @ Baltimore (26)

Detroit @ Carolina
Miami @ Buffalo
Jacksonville @ Washington
Dallas @ Tennessee
Arizona @ NY Giants
New England @ Minnesota
New Orleans @ Cleveland
Atlanta @ Cincinnati

St. Louis @ Tampa
Seattle @ San Diego
Houston @ Oakland
Kansas City @ Denver

Chicago @ San Francisco

Philadelphia @ Indianapolis

The games that intrigue me the most are Atlanta @ Cincy (Is Atlanta as good as the looked last week? Can Cincy step up at home?)

and

Seattle @ San Diego (Are the Seahawks vulnerable on the road to a pretty good team?)

Locally, the Panthers get the Lions at home. This game will tell me a lot about the Panthers as Cam is expected to start. Can the defense limit the damage from the Lions high-powered offense enough?

A lotta stinkers this week (including my team, Jax-Skins).

Bears-Niners should be good, as should Eagles-Colts.

Until the abuse-fueled indictment, Minn-NE was interesting.

I’d like to see this game, but looks like only CBS gets a morning game here, and that’s going to be Pats/Vikes, which I couldn’t care less about. How does this whole watching-games-on-Verizon thing work?

It just means Peterson has to play for Dallas now.

Every team is somewhat vulnerable any given week. The Chargers, though, are just OK, probably not good enough to upend these Seahawks. Last year it took Indy to beat Seattle, just barely, and Indy is still a much better team than SD. So, Seattle will probably take this one, but it will not be a Thursday-night-beatdown. Expect a kind of close game.

Browns defense looking dominant. Should’ve had a safety, but you know, tackling a guy in the end zone is only a safety at the ref’s discretion.

Wow…the Browns are physically dominating the Saints on both sides of the ball early today.

Brees had 9 yards passing in the first quarter and they received the opening kickoff.

Ugly looking injury for RGIII.

Damn, Bengals getting hurt all over the place. AJ Green out, Burfict temporarily out, Zeitler their 1st round guard out, Eifert out, Marvin Jones out…but hey, Gio Bernard is still a STUD, Hamlet! And Jeremy Hill is looking pretty awesome too.

Feeling a little better about the Saints now. The pick-6 didn’t help, but that last drive looked sharp.

I think the Lions may be in the market for a kicker…

Bengals too.

Man do I hate going up by 5 and then kicking an extra point. Especially if you’re running on them at will. Begging for a 1 point loss.

Eh, Nugent is generally solid and would have kicked 6 FG’s in the first half of the game against the Ravens had it not been blocked. Everyone has a bad game.

Jimmy graham is fucking ridiculous. Jordan Cameron will never be that good.

There have been 4 uncalled intentional groundings this game, wtf.

Ironically, botching that extra point helped the Browns win, because if it had been tied they probably would have punted on 4th down.

Fuck me. No pass rush, no defense…game on the line and the Browns get a guy wide open like that?

Sigh. I guess we made Hoyer’s future grandchildren happy today. He can tell them all about leading the game winning drive against the Saints. :frowning:
