So far my pre-season thoughts on the Panthers aren’t too far off the mark. They’re coming together and if they can be a little more consistent they might make a little noise.
The Bucs are a mess, but unless they’ve completely quit on Schiano this could be a tricky game. Short week, on the road against a team with nothing to lose.
I’ve greatly enjoyed the smacking around Greg Schiano has gotten and I hope he continues to get dragged through the wringer each time his team loses until he quits and goes back to college. Go Panthers!
The NFL has enough drama queens without having to bring him back.
And I picked up the Panthers defense in fantasy last night because my Ravens D is on a bye this week and I forgot to start Carolina against one of the worst offenses in football. Oops.
Man, everyone who does not have to be in downtown St. Louis on Monday evening should be very very relieved. This has to be some sort of logistical nightmare, a so-so NFL game and WS game 5 starting within 40 minutes of each other. I would guess the Seahawks will benefit from reduced turnout, not that they need that much help in the first place.
Both these guys made me smile. The first guy was hilarious, he was really impressed Cam shared a ball with a ‘twin’ in the stands and kept mouthing “Wow!”.
Broncos at Skins. Washington’s been playing better of late, but this is going to be ugly. Probably a good time to get around to putting up those shelves…
