Jeffery isn’t going anywhere. I’d say he’s probably the second most untouchable guy on the team. He’ll be around a long time.
Fuller is still young and learning but there are rumblings that he’s not putting in the time off the field and isn’t great in meetings. He’s coasting on physical ability that frankly isn’t that special at the NFL level - he’s short, light and fast, but not fast-fast - he’s not taking the next step. Plus Fangio wants to play more press-man and Fuller isn’t ideally suited to that. I’d be surprised if they punted on him already, but if the price is right (maybe they can get a 2nd or 3rd rounder out of a team in contention) they might jump.
The most interesting move they could make is trading Forte to a contender. They won’t do that as a salary dump the way they did with Allen, but if they get real value back they’d consider it. Fox wants to keep him for his leadership, but Pace would love a couple more 3rd rounders.
