I think Dallas is getting too much respect from Vegas. No Dez, no Romo and not much of a running game, I see their defense staying on the field a lot and getting worn down by Matty Ice and Julio.

Brandon Weeden is elite

After being away from home the past two Sundays in a row, I finally get to sit and watch… Jimmy Clausen vs. the Seahawks (now with 100% Kam Chancellor).

Woo.

I get to watch the Lions get trounced by the Broncos on national television. Woo-effing-hoo.

Maybe if Stafford gets hit enough times, he’ll mutiny and punch out the offensive coordinator?

Not that it will affect the ultimate outcome of the Bears game, but no way in hell Kam is “100%” coming in from a holdout like that.

I meant to write 100% more Kam.

Since it is dividing by zero it is infinite more Kam. With Kam we beat St Louis and are at least within one score on that final drive in GB which changes the strategy.

I don’t know, I got the Broncos on upset alert here. They’re lucky to be 2-0 and due for a letdown after last week.

The Arizona Cardinals are firing on all cylinders and I’m excited to watch them beat San Francisco this Sunday. I’d really like to see Michael Floyd get a few targets to mix things up, but it was great to see Larry Fitzgerald light it up last week.

Josh Brent gets hired by the Cowboys to work in their scouting department? I know Jerry Jones has money to burn but this sounds ridiculous.

Yeah, they need to play 4th quarter intensity all game long.

Did Dallas luck out over a worthless Eagle O or are they strong enough to survive their current issues?

I’ve been wondering about this for a long time, but tonight especially, several key players are out because they haven’t recovered from the game four days ago.

If they have to have Thursday games, why don’t they restrict them to teams that had a bye the previous Sunday?

I know everybody played last week, but later on in the season there are weeks with four to six teams off, so they could spread that around. And what’s really baffling is that even after the bye weeks start, the Thursday night teams more often than not did not have a bye.

Seems like a no-brainer to me. What am I missing?

I guess they care more about scheduling good marquee matchups

I thought of that, but from what I’ve been able to find, the Thursday games are set before the season starts; they don’t move them based on viewer appeal like they do the Sunday night games. So even if they have some other algorithm to determine who plays each Thursday, they could easily make sure those teams had the previous Sunday off.

I suspect they want to make sure all the teams get at least one national broadcast game.

I’ll be curious to see how the Bengals v Ravens game plays out. Ravens at home, smarting from an 0-2 start, Bengals playing really well and 2-0. From what little I have seen of the Ravens this season, I think Flacco is suddenly realizing the value of an elite defense, which the Rats do not have anymore with all their departures and injuries.

I know that game is in Baltimore but I like the Bengals to win. Dalton has legit weapons with Green and Eifert healthy and a formidable 2 headed running back. The Ravens, on the other hand, are lacking offensive firepower.

The Bengals also have a really good defense on the DL and in the secondary. Their LB’s by and large blow, at least until (if?) Vontaze Burfict comes back.

I have given the hell up-- on the Eagles, that is.

Yes, I’ll watch the games. Yes, I expect nothing. My guess for Jets/Eagles is Jets 42, Eagles.

With the state of the NFC East, the winner will have 7 wins this year. How CAN you expect any more? EMWIGMT.

Starting McCown … The worse McCown … Seems to be a decision without upside at this point.
