NFL Week 6

I think I’d be happier if the Bills just totally sucked. But they play just well enough for you to keep thinking they could be so much better.

Holy Flurking Schnit!!

Brady pulls a rabbit out of his hat to beat the Saints. Sigh.

Woohoo!

What a catch!

That last drive notwithstanding, the Pats have to get some other receivers. Wasting the few years Tom Brady has left with all these stone hands and dropped balls is criminal, especially since he looks to be declining a little now. The injury bug has bitten them hard and it’s a little hard to plan for Aaron Hernandez murdering someone, but being 2nd in the league in dropped passes is unacceptable.

I agree. Letting Welker go was a mistake. But I will enjoy this win.

The Eagles went into Tampa Bay, facing a deadly outbreak of the zombie plague, and won against incredible, nay, impossible odds. To call this the greatest victory in the history of competition is really just redundant as that is clearly what everyone is already thinking. Start making your plans for Eagles Victory Day 2014. Don’t worry about vacation time, it’ll be a federal holiweek by then. Nick Elway for President.

What’s crushing the Pats more than anything is simply a lack of size without Gronk and Hermurderer.

Did you mean Hammurderer?

Woot! Go Bucs! As I said in another thread:

Anyone see that ridiculous Seahawks game? They tried mightily to lose to the Titans but somehow failed in that endeavor.

Good God, that is real, isn’t it?

Anyway, your **first place **Cincinnati Bengals, ladies, gentlemen and whatever continues to fester in the Browns locker room…

By the way Hamlet, any inclination of changing your mind on Giovanni Bernard? Did you see his TD play? Whoop!

The refs really did give the game to Detroit. They re-opened a drive that resulted in a TD with a totally bogus pass interference call early on. There was a first down catch by Greg Little around the Lions 35 when they were down by 7 that was ruled out of bounds and then upheld on review despite clearly being in bounds. And then when the Browns stopped them again at the end, still down by seven, they had a completely inexplicable roughing the QB call on a textbook hit that re-opened their drive. Any of those things could’ve easily swung the game.

Welcome to the privledged officiating world where the officials ensure that brand names win and you lose! As a Bengals fan, I can sympathize. It’s like overcoming a 12th player. No joke. It happened to the Bengals Vontaze Burfict not once, twice, but THREE times today, when only one of the fouls was legit. Great job, Ed Hochuli.

I think you labor under a misperception that I think Bernard stinks. He doesn’t. He’s a fine NFL back. He will have the opportunity to score touchdowns, especially when teams steadfastly refuse to tackle him. I never said he was bad, I said he was an OK change of pace back, that he was overdrafted and that he wouldn’t be a a featured back in the NFL.

Although I did notice you failed to mention his 1.9 yards per carry in yesterday’s game.

That C’mon Man on Brady was hilarious. Okay, so they cost me 7 last night. Actually it was pretty inept game managemt by the Saints in the last 2:30 in an otherwise predictable slate of games.

Indy didn’t seem to mind west coast travel week 3. I like them tonite.

Time to mute Gruden.

There’s a reference to a character called The Grapist in that article.

It sure makes perfect sense that Luck would be held without a single touchdown against a terrible San Diego defense. Not that he’s on my fantasy team or anything.

The NFL is stupid.

If Jay Gruden continues to ruin his opportunities by running him up the gut then i cannot help that. That’s BJGE’s job, and he was at 7 YPC until the fourth quarter. Gio’s strength is getting the ball in space, and the more the Bengals do that, the more you will see him score. He’s more than a change of pace back. FFS, who isn’t anymore? Unless your name is Adrian Peterson there is no longer such a thing as a “feature back”.
