NFL Week 9

A few weeks ago, people were talking about how and why it was that the Colts had gotten so bad at player acquistion over the last few years, after having been so good a few years back. This article was interesting:

FWIW.

Ta-da! Bucs got Haynesworth.

Yesssss.

Do you really think that Albert will find new life with his third team in as many years? I would be surprised if he returns to anything resembling his old self.

I wonder if Ochocinco is about to be released? He’s been quiet on Twitter all season, but this morning he’s sending out hundreds of tweets.

They might as well release him. He isn’t doing anything other than taking up a spot and getting paid. I guess he’s done, which is weird to say as a Bengals fan and a former fan of the player once named Johnson. He’s the Bengals all-time leading wideout…a stat I expect Adriel Jeremiah Green to surpass in relatively short order…

I’m not saying he’s a sure thing. I’m just saying that he’ll be more productive in Tampa than he was in Year 2 in Washington or in New England. Whether he’ll be as good as he once was, or just better, is the question.

He’ll be “as good” as he was in New England. Fewer than a dozen tackles the whole rest of the year, I say. Maybe end up on IR.

I’m willing to place a gentleman’s wager on it, if you are. 12 tackles and I win (including sacks).

Since the Thursday games start this week, I created a week 10 thread now.
