Way for the Packers to cheap shot Jackson’s knee.
Good to see the Packs are able to run the ball.
Jesus, come on Dio.
I’m rooting for the Eagles, but that didn’t look in any way like a cheap shot to me. Your obsession with the Packers is a bit much sometimes.
You really don’t have to try so hard to sound like the dumbest hater in the world. Just step away from the computer, take some deep breaths, maybe go to the park with your kids, it will all be alright.
Amen. I just watched the replay. The Packers player hit the ball carrier, who then carried into DeSean Jackson’s leg. That’s one interesting definition of a “cheap shot.”
I have to say, the Eagles look totally outclassed. They can’t protect Vick, they can’t stop the Packers.
I’m starting to lose hope for a third close game this weekend.
Poor James Jones.
Packers with some poor clock management, they shoulda gone for it instead of letting time run out.
Still, they’re ahead 14-3 at halftime and are playing well, but, dammit there are still way too many mistakes. Jones’ dropped pass. Underwood touching the punt. Those kind of mistakes can kill you.
New Orleans had four more wins than Seattle and beat them in the regular season.
In which part of Washington do you live? Snohomish County? Real fine area I hear.
That needs to change. The NFL is rightfully considering it.
So you agree it’s an injustice.
Why did Baltimore DB Josh Wilson intercept a pass 30 yards downfield on 4th and 23?
It’s all instinct, just like running from the cops.
I’m guessing because:
(a) it might not have occurred to him, in the heat of the moment, that he was costing his team yardage
(b) any DB with a chance for an interception is likely to take it, out of pure habit and training and conditioning
(c) Baltimore were up by 23 points with less than 4 minutes to play against a Chiefs offense that was going nowhere
Another mistake by the Packers. Leads to a TD. sigh.
Yay!
Does Seattle go to Chicago if Green Bay wins? The way I figure it, Atlanta gets the “easier” opponent, but despite having a worse record, the league would consider Green Bay the easier team because Seattle won their division and Green Bay did not. Correct?
Right. Best seed plays worst seed. Atlanta is 1, and Green Bay is 6, so GB goes to Altanta if they win. This would be a case of Atlanta kind of getting screwed by the seeding, since they’ve in theory earned the right to play the worst team.
You left out the most probable reason: Personal gain, otherwise known as “padding the stats.” I’m pretty sure I know why he did it, I just don’t understand why he did it.
I guess that’s possible, although i think you’re reading a bit too much into it. I’m just not sure that he was thinking, as he was running step-for-step with a Kansas City WR, “If i catch this, i can pad my stats even though i’m screwing my team out of 40 yards.”
Fair enough.
I’d just like to take the opportunity in this thread to reiterate my absolute hatred of the FOX NFL robot. It’s the most fucking ridiculous thing i’ve ever seen, and i can’t believe it’s lasted so long.
