That’s unfortunate for Oshie. In the replays they’re calling it a hit on an unsuspecting player, but Oshie couldn’t (or, shouldn’t) have been unsuspecting because he’d already received a slight check and there were two Hurricanes nearby pursuing the puck with Oshie (including Foegele).

Yup. Still got a game 7 to go. It’s no surprise that Boston, with their backs to the wall, wouldn’t come out flying.
Next game, with both teams’ backs against the wall will most certainly be entertaining.
But you know what the history is in that situation between Leafs and Bruins!
The fact is that Boston were just clearly the better team today. It remains to be seen if they will be on Tuesday. My money is on Boston. Looking forward to it. Any Game 7 is always fun!

HELL YEAH. Bishop and Rinne were the best players in that game, but both teams struggled through that one.
I’d also like to know exactly how Subban and Benn are goons. They’re both a pair of pretty exciting, physical players, and I like them both a lot. I’ve never known either one to be particularly dirty, but both will fight, if that’s your measure of a goon.
And ahhhhh, tasty. Two game 7s out of the first round. Even if the Stars had to play one of them, that would be a good ratio for me. I don’t have to give a lesson or practice tomorrow night (thankfully music, not hockey, for all parties not involved at the time), so I’ll just revel in the beauty of the sport tomorrow. As it is, that game 6 felt pretty close to a game 7, so it’s even more satisfying.
My brother and I both would rather the Stars face either SJ or Colorado than the Blues (VGK seems the equivalent of the Blues, to me), but there’s only one path: Continue to win 4 of your next 7 games GO STARS!
