Oh, shit yes. I’ve been watching NHL for 30 years, I always watch any playoff series, especially series like this due to games like 6 and 7. That game was UNFUCKINGBELIEVABLE in all aspects!! There was gasping all throughout no matte who you were rooting for.
Here in a San Fernando valley bar, surrounded by a lot of people that need icing explained, and also around people who remember stats of Gretsky-era games, it is a lot of fun.
Blackhawks were incredible this postseason, but it’s someone else’s cup to get now, and I’ll root for the Kings, but the Rangers would be another great SC win in hockey history. Two underdogs, if anything this year. If I came to see my present self three months early from the future and I told myself, “Dude, it’s the Kings and Rangers in the cup this year!” I would have never believed that.
