NHL April+Playoffs.

If the regular season is an indicator, there will be more Penguins fans than Blue Jacket fans in attendence, even for the games in Columbus.

Definition of “Pure Class”.

That was awesome. (Did you know Selanne used to teach kindergarten? How adorable is that?)

Blues fan here. I have no idea what the Hell was going on over the end of regulation - I was basically doing this.

Still, I think we can get past the Blackhawks. But that might just be me drinking the Kool Aid.

NHL.COM has a bracket challenge. I guess they are trying to parallel college basketball to build more interest. I’m skeptical.

Hey, another Blues fan! I didn’t think we had any of those around here.

I’ve learned not to get too optimistic about the Blues in the playoffs. I figure their dropping their last six straight in the regular season was just practice for getting swept in the first round.

If the Sharks and the Kings continue hitting each other as hard as they have in the 1st period here in Game 1, this series may simply go to whichever team winds up with the last man standing.

Grats to the Sharks for out-forechecking the Kings…if you do that three more times, you will finally have solved the Kings and move on to the next round.

That was one hell of a Blackhawks/Blues game last night!
As much as I desperately wanted to see the Hawks win, that was an absolutely great game to watch.

I’ve got a rules question on dislodging of the goals.

In last nights Wild-Avs game the Avs were playing empty net when the Wild shot a puck down the ice headed for the empty net. Erik Johnson of the Avs chased after it and knocked it away just before it crossed the goal line and then crashed the net dislodging it.
The knocked away pass went to the Wild’s Matt Cooke who could have theoretically scored easily with Johnson in the net but the play was whistled dead when the net dislodgged.
Shouldn’t the Wild have been awarded a penalty shot?
If not what keeps a player like Johnson from purposefully dislodging it after his save knowing if he didn’t he’d suddenly have to defend it from Cooke?

And on Good Friday we show thanks to our God, Pavel Datsyuk.

Wings over Bruins is my upset bracket pick.

Cheap spears tonight by both Lucic and Perry.

Big surprise there.

The Blues stole that game against Chicago last night, I felt like the Blackhawks dominated that game.

Datysuk’s goal was great, he barely kept the puck skating through the middle and ended up scoring. I do have a feeling that the Wings could pull off an upset even without Hank. Babcock is such a great coach and if Howard plays well they definitely have a shot. It’s also nice seeing how the other half lives(eastern conference) and not having to stay up so late to watch the west coast games.

I’ll miss him too. But I remember once when he went way out of character on my Flyers.

Him and Hospodar tried to prevent Lemeiuex from shooting his last, lucky warmup goal. Chico ends up living the net off the magnets and turns it around, sticking it in the corner. Lemeiuex skates down, and stuffs the luck in anyway. Insanity ensues!

Ooop, actually the net went back on, and someone else shot it in. Still, it was hilarious. No penalties! I thought at least ten were getting suspended.

Damn - two outstanding games from the Blues. Cheap shot from Seabrook; I hope Backes is OK.

They do look good :frowning:

The Official Dessert of the Pittsburgh Penguins is…

Apple Turnover
