OK for some reason the past couple days the NHL has been doing a piss-poor job of getting score updates out. It’s now just after 10 pm and ESPN’s bottom line has the score of the Pittsburgh/Carolina as a 2-2 tie. Their website and yahoo sports has it as 2-0 in the 2nd. The league’s website itself has NO score updates. I’ve noticed this a couple times in the past few days. What’s the deal?
I’ve noticed that http://www.nhl.com doesn’t cover the NHL as well as http://www.espn.com/nhl and http://www.sportingnews.com/nhl both of which I hit daily at least.
The ‘official’ site seems more like an NHL commercial than a news source. But that’s just my 0,02 Euro.
