Same here, I’ve never seen the boards load so quick in the two odd years I’ve been here! I’m beginning to wonder whether the upgrade actually consists of adding in some weird mutant steroid enhanced super hamsters (or hampsters as the board variety normally seem to be known).

It was deathly slow for me earlier today and took five minutes or more to load a single page but I’m zipping along like wildfire right now. And at 2:00am, which is when the boards are usally down in my timezone.
No complaints here.

There was some pit thread I was reading where a Poster A asked Poster B to clarify a statement. I searched all through the beginning of the thread looking for Poster B’s post - any post and it just wasn’t there.
So imagine my surprise when the referenced post was found about four hours after the reference.

Yes. Yes, I know. However I am 19,234 feet from my CO (central office for you non laymen) so I can not connect with DSL. Cable isn’t available out here in the weeds, and well we live in Texas and it’s pointless to do satellite because of the fucking thunderstorms.

And I’m on dialup. My max speed is about 2.8 Kb/s, which is when the line isn’t noisy and I haven’t just been hung up on.

Personally, I think the new server sucks rhino !!! You asked, ‘what good is it to complain, etc?’ Well, this country was founded by a bunch of people that really complained and griped quite a bit. And because of that …

I am very happy with the new server and I cannot possibly imagine the untold ecstatic heights of cyber delight when the new server really gets going !! And you know, British rule wasn’t so bad.
