My question is do you know somebody like that? Or are you like that?
One of my good friends is like that. Makes you feel so stupid for not knowing how to do something with your computer and then pushes you out of the way, pushes a few keys and fixes what you were having trouble with.
It was pretty bad when I first got my computer and he made me feel like an idiot. Now I am proud to say that I don’t have to call him too much anymore.
Seriously I enjoy that skit, but I know that others out there have actually delt or seen someone deal with someone like that.

not too far off topic, but you wouldn’t believe all the calls I get at work for the ‘free’ tech support. Then have my girlfriend or mom ask me questions or need help on the computer? I usually seem less than enjoyable. Ugh…
If I or my co-workers were like that, we’d get canned. We are expected to be professional and courteous at all times, and we are also expected to be willing to explain or walk someone through a process that they should be able to do (like login, for heaven’s sake, or check their email.)
I think that is the reason I find that guy so funny. It’s because I actually know people like him.
Or would love to be like him if they could get away with it.
I’m sure that it is frustrating as hell to know all that stuff and have to deal with others who like me who are sometimes simple about that stuff.
I feel for you TroubleAgain. But if you could get away with it would you? Come on, you can tell us. We won’t tell.
