I started it as a possible refuge for Trek Dopers who weren’t going to join the P2P New Dope and to possibly draw in a new, non Dope perspective from the EZ Board foriegn shores.
It took off well and was quite fun over the Summer, but the influx of new Trekkers to the Dope and the continuing of the great tradition by the established Trek Dopers with the beggining of Manny Coto’s New ENT Season IV pretty much negated the need for this sattelite board.
Thanks to the Dope for letting me promote it and to all my friends who made it fun. Special kudos to Aesiron, the best administrator for a small sci-fi board I’ve ever seen.
*We are assembled here today to pay final respects to our honored dead. And yet, it should be noted that in the midst of our sorrow, its death takes place in the shadow of new life, the sunrise of a new series. A series that our beloved comrade gave his life to protect and nourish. It did not feel this sacrifice a vain or empty one and we will not debate its profound wisdom at these proceedings. Of my boards, I can only say this: of all the ones I have encountered in my travels, its was the most . . . trekkie.
