NightRabbit-When did you realize, vis-a-vis other kids, that you are a piece of shit?
She said something stupid. Big deal.
No, she said something stupid and really, really offensive, and keeps dragging it out.
No, she said something stupid and really, really offensive, and keeps dragging it out.
Stupid- perhaps- who knows. Offensive- not even close. And keeps dragging it out? Why, because she didn’t get scared by the big bad pit thread and turn tail and run, she responded? She didn’t get intimadated by people trying to bully her into changing her opinion? Calling someone daft for holding an unpoplular opinion is one thing, but calling them a piece of shit for it is a bit excessive.
Yeah, I love this sort of attention in the pit  OK, I think I’m officially done.
What, again?

A parallel analogy- guys wife gets killed, cops find a vagrant they believe did it, there’s evidence, he’s tried and convicted and gets life. Another cop reviews the case, has doubts the vagrant did it, and investigates to try and see if he can find the real culprit- why would this be “offensive” to the husband?
For this analogy to be valid, the cops would not only not arrest anyone for the wife’s death but also insist she isn’t dead.
What if I approached the familes of Jeffery Dahmer’s victims and said, "Dahmer didn’t kill your loved one . . . *the US Government did! . . . * and I’m selling DVDs, t-shirts, and books to prove it!

Would that be offensive?
That would be capitalism.
No, she said something stupid and really, really offensive, and keeps dragging it out.
How exactly was it offensive? Unless I missed something she retracted the comment about nobody being killed in the Pentagon.
Yeah, I love this sort of attention in the pit  OK, I think I’m officially done.
Sure, that’s the official line…
ffs, where did she say that she believed one more than the other? You say her “doubt” leaves her with two choices then you ignore the fact that she is in doubt and make the choice for her. You retards are so desperate to re-fight this argument you are fraudulently equating her with the makers of “Loose Change” and their ilk.
Here is a part of what NightRabbit said in an earlier post:
if the Bush administration could send 4000 troops off to die for their agenda in Iraq, I don’t see how it’s so impossible that they would sacrifice however many more that died in the WTC in order to predicate a reason to go into the area to begin with. All the evidence that the government was warned about air attacks into NYC years before the attacks happened and yet still didn’t realize or respond to what happened until the planes actually hit. The fact that the guys who hijacked the planes were educated at US air bases. The fact that a plane could be flown into an important office building in washington and happen to hit the newly constructed area that isn’t yet fully staffed or operational. The lack of WMD evidence that almost suggests that Bush already planned to go into Iraq in response to the attacks no matter what the reality was.
If you can explain to me how that can be interpreted to mean that she is allowing for the possibility of incompetence or mistake as the explanation, I’ll concede your point.

Besides, I find the fact that NightRabbit has posted since my question in post #126, and yet still did not see fit to answer my simple question, rather telling. If, as CarnalK suggests, she is readily allowing for incompetence or mistake as the explanation, it would take a one-sentence post to say that.

RoadFood, it’s obvious that NightRabbit’s point was that the mass of all these supposed coincidental mistakes has given her doubt. If you tell me you turned up heads ten times in a row tossing a coin I could have my doubts without being sure that you are lying.

And Cisco, no comments on being a 9-11 survivor? Having a stupid family member ripped off by the conspiracy nuts? ANY explanation for being such an over the top cunt about all this?

It’s not simply an unpopular opinion. It’s a demonstably wrong opinion that attempts to exonerate the murderers of 3,000 innocent people and lay the blame at the feet of innocents such as Larry Silverstein, elected officials in our government, members of the the FDNY, and the NYPD - for profit, fame, and political agendas.

How would you feel if you were Bernard Brown Sr. (link 2), a man who is accused by this “movement” of intentionally sending his 11 year old son to die on Flight 77 while enjoying a day of golf? That’s not offensive?

How would you feel if you were Larry Silverstein - a man who lost hundreds of millions at least, if not billions of dollars on 9/11, but can no longer walk down the street or from his car to his office in peace because he is constantly harassed by members of this “movement” who accuse him from profitting off the attacks - mostly because he is Jewish. That’s not offensive?

How would you feel if you were a member of the FDNY who lost 343 of your brothers on 9/11, and you get accused of being in on it? That’s not offensive?

How would you feel if you were a family member of someone who willingly laid down their life on Flight 93 so it wouldn’t hit its target and members of this “movement” said your loved one isn’t dead or never existed because the plane landed safely in Cleveland. That’s not offensive?

How would you feel if your family member died in the Pentagon and someone came on a messageboard and said no one died there, or at least no one important died there, because memebers of this deranged, perverted “movement” told her so? That’s not offensive?

How painful would the second blow be when you found out that all of this had NO basis in fact, logic, or rationality - and in fact was made of whole cloth sprinkled with cherry-picked conjecture, all in the name of the aforementioned fame, profit, and political agendas?
Proper research into those supposed coincidental mistakes would have revealed they’re either misleading or, worse, flat-out wrong.

Cisco, don’t forget the death threats that have been aimed at Mark Roberts.

Well, since she said she doesn’t intend to do proper research and has basically moved on with her life that point is moot here.

Seriously, do you guys want IMHO to be a place for only accepted smarty smart “True Doper” opinions to be expressed? Here’s [post=9605308]the Czarcasm incident[/post] I mentioned earlier, which will also have [post=9617306]a chill effect[/post] on that forum.

A guy who has done nothing but hard, rational, factual research into the events of 9/11. Reality hurts these people so bad they want to kill the ones who try to show it to them.

If my loved one was dead, I could give a shit what some rambling loon with a website said, that’s just me, and again you are conflating NR having some doubts with some of the more raging nutjobs out there, sort of like comparing someone uncomfortable around blacks with a KKK member. Obviously whatever emotional tie you have with this is clouding your rational judgment, so you really aren’t the best person to give an unbiased opinion now are you?

And a couple of points- no one on Flight 93 *gave their life * to save the plane from crashing into a monument, they were going to die anyway if that plane crashed into a field or the White House, right?

And in case you missed the ten other times its been mentioned here, Dubya has so far given up 4000 US and 500K Iraqi lives for his personal cause, is the possibility that he’d give up another 184 unfathomable?

Well good, shut the fuck up, then.

She linked to their sites you fucking fuck!

Quit wasting your time Wee Bairn. Cisco is clearly a chicken shit who wants to repeat his little internet warrior act he’s fought every time he sees “9-11” pop up. You’ll notice he doesn’t change a single bit of his argument to coincide with the actual thread he’s in.

Are you kidding me? What thread are you reading? I haven’t seen a rational argument in favor of any 9/11 conspiracies in this thread so please point it out to me and I will address it thoroughly.
