So, Nissan is apparently the official car company of the Rebellion/Republic or something. Fine, Lucas can make his money any way he wants/can.
However, in this commercial, the young driver/padowan is basically told by Dad/Obi-wan to turn on the targetting computer, and not trust herself/the Force.
This is still the low-point in Disney merchandising.
I think a large percentage of the Lucasfilm purchase was bought with Disney stock so the continuing success of Star Wars will enrich George Lucas’ portfolio.

As far advertising people selling anything resembling what production is actually tooled for or producing, when has that happened?
