I don’t know who has fake boobs and who doesn’t, but I would be shocked if most actresses don’t have them. Your average North American woman has fake boobs - why wouldn’t people whose appearance is their livelihood have boob jobs?

From everything I’ve heard and read, the numbers of women having breast augmentation keeps increasing.
Note: I question the validity of the premise of the article I linked, but it has the figures I was looking for.

Even 2 million women in the US is still only, what, something like 2% of adult women? Less than that, really. I’d hardly call that average.
Obviously we all need to join Cat Whisperer’s entourage so we can meet all of these “average” women.
I’m pretty sure Cat Whisperer was saying breast implants are available to the average woman, and many women who aren’t in the entertainment field have them. Not that, statistically speaking, the average woman has breast implants.

No, I agree with Cat Whisperer (and Narley23’s revision). It isn’t so much that the average woman has breast implants it’s that most people think nothing of it - like its not a big deal at all to have invasive surgery.
Personally I think they are disgusting and hate-hate-hate them. Natural breasts are so beautiful.
Yea, I’ll second that. I’m easily willing to believe that it gets harder for starlettes to get work as they age, but 25 seems crazy early to send them off to pasture.
I mean, Hollywood wants to promote these woman as beauties so people will go see their movies. If they breakthrough at 17 or 18 and are “too old” at 24-25, that means Hollywood really only has time to make five or six films with them before they have to go troll the Disney Channel for another teenager and start over. Doesn’t make very good business sense.
I suspect Knightly honestly isn’t interested in making another Pirate movie as the link says (possibly for reasons similar to those that make me not interested in seeing another Pirate movie).
And of those 2 million women, some of them have them due to reconstructive surgery.
The only women I know with fake breasts are breast cancer survivors. And, yeah, its a boost to their self esteem.

I do too, but a friend prefers “foobs.” Feel free to use either as needed. Oh, and this NA woman doesn’t have foobs. They’re real, and they’re fantastic.
ETA: “breast augmentation” can also refer to reduction. Many large breasted women get these, too - my sister-in-law did so. Likewise, it was a big boost to her self-esteem.
