That’s standard for Churches of Christ. As I said, they aren’t really a denomination, they’re a doctrinal movement one of whose defining doctrines is that they are opposed to any denominational structure or association above the local congregation.
Dio, what I mean is that one meaning of “creature” is “specifically human animal” and that the remark in Mark, whichever word is used, is certainly meant to admonish believers to preach the gospel to all of humanity. It’s metonymy. Or synechoche. Or something else rhetorical.
