This year they are doing A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum.
I thought this would be a good idea for our next NoCal doper meeting. I was also thinking that maybe we could make it a two day thing this time, maybe meeting in San Francisco on a Saturday and then going to the play on Sunday.
I spoke with PCW about this and she mentioned maybe doing the Zoo, MOMA, Golden Gate Park, the exploratorium or the Laserium on Saturday. Or we could go hang in one of the touristy areas like Fisherman’s Wharf or something. Maybe a late afternoon/early evening meeting at somewhere like Chevy’s again? What do ya say? Just tossing ideas around right now. Let me know what you think.
For me, the best weekend would be the June 3rd/4th weekend, Purp concurred, but I could also do the May 27th/28th.

OK then, let’s make it the weekend of June 3rd/4th. Saturday in the city, Sunday on Mt Tam. One or the other for those who can’t make both. Any suggestions for Saturday? Where do you guys want to meet? Some advice from people who live in the city would help. As always, I’m sure BART/MUNI accessible would help people out. I’ll start looking around today. If all else fails, Chevy’s on the Embarcadero(where we met last time) worked pretty well. Let me know what you think.
BTW, you can get tickets to the Mountain Play via the website I listed earlier.
I’m bumping this to the top because i’m saddened at the lack of response. Come on people, doesn’t this sound like a cool doper bash? The last time we had a great response. Or are we going to have like 5 people and be the laughing stock of the doper bashes? :). I understand if you’ll be busy ;).
