I second the inebriation for Saturday, since we’re going to have to be civilized at the play.
Has there ever been a question of inebriation? Come on people, it’s tradition! You can’t mess with that!

Unfortunately, the traditions don’t involve much more than the ritual of inebriation. Oh yes, and one other thing: Pictures…lots of eviden…I mean, pictures…
OK, I’ll try to go, also. Sharpen up those knives, folks! 
Yep, it’s usually drinking for several hours, gossip, and topics that lead to rowdy, loud conversation. Oh and pics and things.
OK people, a couple of us in chat right now were wondering, what restaurant are we meeting at? I know Puerto Alegre was mentioned, but it didn’t seem like it got the Official OK by everyone. Anyway, some people are still unsure as to the final plans.
Also, for the mountain play, if you’re wondering about tickets and all that, here’s some additional info I got back over email today:
In other words, if they dont think it should take 10 days to get all the way down here to Monterey (I’m probably the furthest away), then it probably wouldnt take 10 days to get the tickets to people in the bay area. And, it probably wont be sold out that day, so, you can mos likely get tix at the gate, like Kristin says.
By a very happy coincidence, if the date is still June 3/4 I will be there. I’m flying into S.F. for the Java One Conference that week – should arrive Saturday afternoon although travel plans aren’t finalized yet. I’ll try to come early enough to meet at 4:00.
I can be there Saturday but not Sunday. I’ll e-mail Democritus on Tuesday from work. (I should do that, right?)
Also I have to warn you that I am a teetotaler. If the inebriation levels get alarming I may have to excuse myself. Worse yet, I’ll stay and take careful notes!! But I’ll be happy to be a designated driver for anyone who needs one.
I won’t be there, even though I’m already here.
