Non-Human characters you'd date

Ohhh, I want to “date” Spike. Yum. Sex, sex, sex.
Strider
Archie Goodwin
Rob Wilco (a bit aginst type, I know)

Sorry, I got so caught up in my Spike lust that I forgot we were supposed to be referencing non-humans rather than just fictional folk. Forget the rest of my list. Let’s stay with the vampire.

Oh, one more addition. She’s kind of two-dimensional, but I could go for Shadow, from Bear in the Big Blue House. Mostly because of her beautiful voice.

Who is this? Might we have a link?

Speaking of beautiful voices…Sarek of Vulcan. Of course, he’s happily married, but hey.

If we’re going for voices—pretty much any character Kath Soucie’s done with her “adult” voice. Yowie. I’d do a lot of things for a voice like that.

Well, you might also explain in what respect Archie Goodwin is nonhuman.

I’d love to, but all I can find is brief mentions of the character on pages about the show. Nothing that says who voices her, or has a sample of her singing.

In short, Bear in the Big Blue House is a Disney/Henson show aimed at pre-schoolers. I think that every episode has a segment with Shadow; Bear will sing “Where oh where oh where is Shadow (repeated three times), Where can Shadow be?” (to the tune of “Ten Little Indians”). Shadow then appears, a shadow of a pigtailed girl projected on the wall, and sings a song accompianied by a bit of silhouette theater.

If you’re really interested, you could probably check out an episode from the library, if you wouldn’t feel too weird about asking for a pre-school video.

Data. Definitely Data. He’s so sweet and funny, yet intelligent and interesting, and you’d never have to worry about saying the wrong thing–it’s not like you’d hurt his feelings.

Of course, once he did have feelings, then it’d be fun seeing him discover the world!

I married an Evil Angel and made her an ELF. Does that count at all?

Okay, it was just a play on words, but still my very human wife was named Eve L., and her last name meant Angel and when she took my last name, her new initials were E.L.F.

As a Tolkien fan and D&D player, it seems very appropriate to me and my nickname for her is Elf*.

To really address the OP, almost any female Elf of Middle-Earth would probably be quite desirable to date. The Fuzzy feline humanoid that Oscar dallied with at Star’s court in “Glory Road” comes to mind. Most humanoid females in Fantasy and Science Fiction were usually very attractive and most were above average intelligence. I would say the dating pool is very large.

Jim {* For the record she think D&D is strange and boring and does not really like the LotR, though she liked the Hobbit}

I can’t find anything with her singing, but some wandering around the internet shows this game on Disney’s website with the character and that the voice is either Tara Moorey or Mooney (sources differ).

Twi’lek chicks. 'Nuff said.

Drzzzzt or Tanis, Half Elven

Abe Sapien.

<insert sushi joke here>

Ischade, from Thieve’s World.

No link (I’m not sure if there was a picture, ever), but I always pictured her as very pretty.

Not a fan of the dying part, but I don’t remember everyone dead.

I second Sage Rat’s look on things. Also, the qualities that make a fictional character interesting quite often remove them from the ‘relationship’ pool. (Though almost any female Star Trek character named so far would be well worth a quick fling. :D)

I can say I agree with Bosda Di’Chi of Tricor, (though it’s a relationship you’d find hard to keep up with. ;))

I can’t really think of any right now - I’ll throw out Ayame from Inuyasha, 'cause she’s something of a romantic, strong, and kind of a firebrand. On the downside, she’s looking for someone with land and power to help defend her kingdom, which means I’m probably out of the running already for someone who isn’t even real. :smiley:
(I’m kinda surprised that Inuyasha himself didn’t get mentioned. From the fanfics that I, um… heard about, he seems to be quite popular with the ladies.) :wink:

Frell Yeah!

B’ellanna Torres, Ambassador Kh’eyler, Chiana, Aeryn Sun or P’au Zotoh Zhann

I could see dating Chiana. We’d break up over our differing views on sex and the fact that she kept stealing my stuff.

As a spiritual kinda guy, I could see dating Zhann. This would be a much deeper relationship. But, in the end, I wanna marry a Jewish woman. Zhann would not want to convert and we’d part amicably.

Has anyone picked Max from Dark Angel yet? She’s mostly human, but there’s some animal DNA in the cocktail.
