I’m not a particularly big fan of Norah Jones, either. Just not my style of music is all. Nothing personal. I have, however, resisted the overwhelming temptation to come into a thread populated by people who obviously enjoy her music (and in this case, wouldn’t mind a free CD) and cop a squat.

You don’t want the CD? That’s great, don’t post to the thread. Want to take pot shots at her? The Pit is three forums down. Please flush twice to remove the skid marks when you’re done.

Casey, you’re right. I’m sorry.

Of course, I have issues with Norah Jones that go beyond her lack of musical talent. Besides generally finding her annoying, there are some associations where an extreme fan of hers was played almost continually in the background while making me and several of my co-students very miserable.

I hope you’ll forgive me if my first reaction to this thread was, “Great Og!!! **Casey1505 wants to inflict more Norah Jones on the universe!!! Will the torture never end!!!”

BTW, I’ve done BMG music club for a long time, and have always been able to return a CD that was sent that I didn’t want. Now that I can decline the featured selection online, it’s so much easier – never have to waste a stamp on reply cards.
