I called them (BMG, in my case) and told them to stop sending me CDs I never ordered, or I would no longer do business with them. Except I sounded way nicer than that. Anyway, they did; I still get the reply cards every month, but I don’t have to send them in unless I’m actually ordering something, which I do online anyway. I tried to do the same thing with a book club, but they refused so I fullfilled my membership obligations and then cancelled.
I’ve never paid any attention to Norah Jones and I have no idea if I’d actually like the CD, so there’s no need to put my name in a hat.
