Northern California Meets Southern California: The return

I had a nice long conversation with Shayna this afternoon and have directions, landmarks, address, and phone number. We’re set!

Excellent. Just gotta remember my Proclaimers CD!

I notice that the temps in SLO only get up to about 70 degrees for a high. Should I even bother packing any shorts? I guess I’ll grab one pair.

Just to make sure I have this straight: I’m taking Monster up and Mercutio back?

So unless I missed something, it sounds like nobody’s nailed down any plans for Saturday afternoon. Is anybody interested in making plans, or do we just find each other by cell phone and hang out until dinner?

virtee, zyzz and I will be leaving Fremont BART station around 11 am, so hopefully we’ll be in SLO by 3 or 4. I have Mercutio’s cell phone number, and he has mine. If anyone needs my number, email him, as I’m having a slight problem and would rather not email it again. I’ll give him a call when we get close to SLO!

domina: Correct.

So, I think my plans are:

Go up Saturday. Hang out with whomever I end up with. Sleep on part of the couch. Do stuff on Sunday. Go back down sometime Sunday.

For everyone coming on Saturday.
The restaraunt reservations are set for 5 oclock.
Ask for the Cecil Adams party.

Hopefully everyone will be able to get together earlier than that. But, just in case.

PS:

domina, I don’t think plans for Saturday are clearly set yet. We will decide on what to when we are all together. Send one of us your cell phone, or Sonya can send you out her number. That way we can hook up and decide what to do. I hope we do something coast wise, because I am never bored looking at the water.

I have to stop by the credit union, then pick up Mauvaise. Then I’ll be off to the frozen tundra of San Luis Obispo via an overnight stay in Los Angeles.

Is it 1023 Chorro Street or 123 Chorro Street? I’ve seen both addresses used in this thread.

Never mind, I found it online. It’s 1023 Chorro Street.

I used to live in SLO, and now I’m in Texas where it’s 98 right now, and I hate you all!

Seriously, it’s a great little town, hope you’re all having a blast.

Jack Batty and I are leaving now. See you all in a little while.

Mauvaise and I made it out. We all went for a walk on the beach and have now retired for the night at Shayna’s. I’m going to go running along the beach tomorrow morning if I can drag my ass off the couch early enough.

You should have seen how quickly the guest bed got inflated. Vroom! Vroom!
