We’re back as well. The drive home was long and arduous, and I almost ran us out of gas, but otherwise it was fine. 
Nice seeing you all. I’ll try to make the next one. If I don’t Robin and Aaron probably will.
We’re home, and I even made a trip through the mall and got new Wicky pants! Hooray! What a great day!
I’m a bit surprised, though, that we spent $42 on lunch, when Dave didn’t even eat.

The food wasn’t that expensive! Was there a problem with the tab?
It’s an expensive place. It was $40 for Lady Chance, Baby Kate and I. And we only drank the Lemonade and had an entree each.
I’m not too sure what happened. It should have been $22 plus the 17% tip. We came up short on the tab, so I anted up a bit extra.
Well, I had my own check, and I paid $46.
Sounds like everyone had a good time. I would have liked to join y’all but I’m a bit short on cash right now. I’ll have plenty when my refund gets here.
Yeah that’s almost what we spent for a veggie burger, kid’s pizza, and a side of mashed potatoes (oh, and a coke and 2 root beers). The tab came up about $20 short in the end, so a few of us chipped in extra, Gingy chipping in more than anyone 
But it was fun anyway

It was great to see everybody again, especially RTFirefly and wife, Anita Vacation and Wendell Wagner who I had the good fortune to have as neighbors at the table. We should definitely do this more often!
I had a great time! It was terrific that so many people showed - by my count, there were 29 of us, including assorted spouses, friends, and offspring. My only regret was that it was hard to move about and talk to everyone - I know there were some people I didn’t even have a chance to say hi to. But I had a wonderful time conversing with the Chance family, Anita Vacation, ultrafilter, Triskadecamus, and Neidhart, who were in my general vicinity.
I’m talking up the idea of hosting a Vernal Equinox party (subtitle: is this winter never going to end?!) with my wife; if she’s amenable, I’ll be starting a thread before too long.
At least then, it won’t be a surprise when she’s there. It’s always a surprise to me when I see her!
OH! And a great big THANK YOU to Triskadecamus for the flags! I have been puzzling over how I was going to get a Canadian flag to wave at passing Canadian vehicles on the highway. Just to let them know that I’m not ‘One of them’.
The Doorses had a great time. We made it home safe and sound.
