Not A Good Day For D

So please keep her in your thoughts/prayers, please?

Her sister has had a series of mini-strokes (TIA’s) and she’s been taken to the ER. She’s aphasic in that she can begin sentences but can’t finish them.

Since she’s the family respiratory practitioner, guess who’s the first one to be called when something like this happens? Yup.

In addition, she’s also the caregiver to her brother and she’s taken him to his doctor’s appointment (cardiologist), so that she can be the one to explain to the rest of the family what the doctor says, because her brother doesn’t understand. Thank goodness they’re both (sister and brother, I mean) in the same hospital being seen.

Our son broke his wrist trying to load my scooter onto a trailer (I sold it to him for a dollar, since I no longer drive), but luckily he’s just in a cast.

Then there’s me and I’m here doing my chores (washing clothes, dishes, making the beds and vacuuming), so at least she won’t have that on her as well.

What pisses me right the hell off is the fact that D’s sister’s son and daughter are at work right now.

My wife loves to cook, but I think I’ll spare her that and order out tonight.

Thanks for letting me unload.

Quasi

She’s got herself a good guy, that’s for sure.

I hope her sister is okay, and I hope that luck improves soon for your whole family.

Makes my day look not too bad by comparison- just chaos at work.

Hope everything is OK for all of you.

You’re a good guy, Quasi; you deserve good things.

Hope things improve stat.
mmm

What a great guy you are, Quasi! I hope everything quickly gets better for everyone involved.

My best to you and yours Quasi. Hang in there.

I don’t really have much in me to give these days but you can have {{{{{{{hugs}}}}}}} to you and yours and some healing vibes/prayers to all who need them

My mother had a full CVA, and she was this way for, oh, a couple of months. She completely recovered her ability to speak clearly, though. That was six years ago. Believe me, talking is not a problem for her these days.

Best wishes to you and your’n.
