Today is my older son’s birthday, and we are having his party in a local park. Yesterday, my BFF called and asked if we had a Plan B in case the weather was bad. Honestly, I didn’t! It’s been a bit rainy the past few days, but the current forecast shows 55 degrees and a whopping 10% chance of rain. So she called a few minutes ago to ask if we were still having the party in the park. I said “yup - weather is going to cooperate.” She said “well it’s too muddy and chilly so I guess I’ll bring his present later.”
This just really bummed me out! I mean, the playground equipment isn’t sitting on dirt, and there are two shelters to sit under, so it’s not like she’d be exposed to the elements. And I’m SURE she has a jacket.
Just sad.
