Susan Joan, aka “Susie”, was born March 23, 2006. She was 5 lbs. 6 oz. at birth and at her 8 week checkup, she was 8 lbs. 7 oz. I imagine at almost 10 weeks old now, she’s probably over to 9 pounds. She’s generally a pretty content baby, until about 7 or 8 at night, when she gets fussy for an hour or two, then settles down and goes to sleep at around 10 and sleeps at 5-6 hour stretches.
I dropped her off at daycare for the first time today. It wasn’t as traumatic as I thought it would be and I just called and she’s not fussy at all. She’s saving it for us tonight, I guess.
She’s smiling and cooing now and I can’t wait to hear her laugh. She looks exactly like her daddy, including his freakishly long toes. She only has my top lip and my chin.
