And in my experience retail management isn’t pulling in a fat paycheck by any stretch of the imagination. Enough to pay the bills, yeah, but it isn’t like you are going to jump into a six figure salary from a minimum wage position. I’m not materialistic but the women I know who are don’t say things like, “I’m just waiting until I can land the manager at that Foot Locker” or “Bitch, you better stop looking at the manager at Wal-Mart, he’s mine!” They tend to be searching for men who are doctors, lawyers, bankers, etc. So even with a jump to management you aren’t all the sudden going to have a sexy bank account.

Yanno, talking about the venality of women who seek out “fat paychecks” makes me so very, very glad that I’ve never had to deal with them. My wife loves me for who I am, not what I have. You also may want to explore your view on women as “free women” and paid for women, that, rather than your lack of funds is probably 95% of your problem.

It’s a shame you have convinced yourself that you need money to get a girl. As if millions and millions of poor people don’t have sex everyday. If you dress better, take care of yourself, and do thing you enjoy, you will look around and see girls that like you everywhere you go.
If you are having such difficulty finding a mate due to economic factors, you should move somewhere where the income level is lower. Your personal happiness far outweighs whatever job you’re chasing.
