Notice anything about this picture?

Is SHE resting her head on two, or is she giving us the finger?

Hey, this is the Mundane Pointless Stuff forum! :stuck_out_tongue:

Zooming in says two fingers. You can see the outline of the other finger with magnification.

Aw, that’s no fun.

“She”? I wasn’t aware that word could be applied to aliens made of plastic and cosmetics.

Wow, she really does look plastic. She’s heading into Joan Rivers territory there.

She’s not plastic, she’s a Southern Belle “an iron fist in a velvet glove.” ala Pat Conroy (Lords of Dicipline I think.)

I’m with you. I had the same thought. :dubious:

Except that instead of a velvet glove, she’s wearing an Area 51 grey-alien Halloween mask.

In her defense, those are some very bad lighting and makeup choices the artist made. If they softened up the glare and went a little easier on the concealer / foundation–and didn’t try to airbrush out every single wrinkle–she’d look a little more human.

I’ll give you that.

It has nothing to do with how she looks…

I’m just saying, the outer robot layer is normally pretty well-manufactured.

Yeah, but how do you explain the slant of the eyes? She’s turning Japanese (and not in the fun way). That’s not airbrushing or makeup.

Zooming in closer in the hi-def version of the photo, it’s pretty clear that she’s doing the Shocker.

Good point. Maybe it’s a combination of airbrushing and the really unnatural, forced grin she’s wearing…

Well, she is a WASP.

That is the makeup. Makeup shapes the face as well as paints it and when you turn the 3-D into a 2-D photo the effect is heightened.
