so, the polls aren’t closed yet then why decide the state results based on one county reporting, the CNN website just lost credibility in my eyes…
only report a state when all the votes have been tallied…

Ohio Bush lead narrowing (as predicted). 116,000 votes. Cuyahoga still largely out.
Hey, I’ve won several awards for my grasp of the obvious.
hey…diversity is you know
besides
I drank all of my whiskey over the weekend.
It is far from over in Ohio. If I’m calculating right, there are almost a million votes yet to come in in Cuyahoha County and 600,000 in Hamilton County, both of which break for Kerry (sharply so far in Cuyahoga).
I knew a visit from the doctor would make me feel better.
CNN hasn’t called Washington, but Fox just did. Meanwhile Fox has not called California. If we given them both to Kerry the score is Bush 197 Kerry 199.
Nose to nose indeed!
It’s going to be a photo finish for sure.
I suspect they feel that if a candidate gets a certain percentage of the exit polls in their favor then they can safely call the state. There must be a certain threshold that they feel comfortable relying on.
The Florida senate race is making my headache even worse. Looks like that 3rd party candidate could have been a spoiler.
Damn you Bob Graham! It’s all your fault for quitting.
Damn, I’m depressed now and need to go to sleep. Think I’m getting sick from standing out in the cold and wind (and some rain) with the Kerry poll captain in Wisconsin today. No drinking but I am nervously eating Jelly Bellys.
At least it looks like we got rid of old fart Rep. Phil Crane here in the IL 8th district. And we got Obama, of course.
Crap. There’s nothing to restrict Bush & Company now. We’re totally screwed.
Please let me wake up to good news from Ohio and Wisconsin. And Fark you, Florida. God’s gonna hit you with 6 hurricanes next time.
Florida at 94%. It’s mathematically over. Bush wins the state. I know all the networks blew it in 2000, and are terrified of doing so again, but call it already.
CBS has called both for Kerry, as well as Colorado for Bush.
I’ve got all local shit running right now. How bad did Nader fuckitup in Fla.? He was pulling a point or two at one time but I don’t think he was doing much at last count…He had 10-12K of the popular vote however.
Running low on whisky.
Trapped in time.
Surrounded by evil.
You’re drinking oil?
Hmm…you’re a lot more surprised than I am.
The bit by Samantha Bee in the beginning was okay. But the best part was William Weld and Al Sharpton. Very spirited, Weld seems to be a sport. I DVR’ed it, so caught up the bits I missed in the commercials.
EC count on MSNBC is stuck at 199 vs 207. Lots of “too close to calls”. Chris Matthews sounds like a broken record.
{{{passes Ino half bottle of Jack}}}
Something very odd is going on in Cuyahoga county. It’s been stuck at 41% for quite some time.
You’re thinking sort term.
