Novel Condiments

Saffron alioli, a Spanish concoction, goes with almost anything: seafood, deli sandwiches, fries.

We make a homemade cranberry chutney that has hazelnuts in it along with some other things. It’s great on a deli meat sandwich, with some mayo. In fact, most any kind of jam is good on a turkey sandwich.

Mix mayo and store-bought curry powder for a good sandwich spread or to mix in with your chicken salad, or to use as a condiment for a piece of sauteed chicken.

Ketchup-22?
mmm

Try it, seriously. Hot English mustard and sauerkraut is sensational on a bratwurst.

Bratwursts are more robust than a hot dog. Hot dogs don’t stand up as well to strong toppings (though I love sauerkraut on them!).

Putting any kind of mustard on a steak would be sacrilegious. I think it’s actually against the law in many places.

If it isn’t, it should be.

tzatziki sauce on a turkey or roast beef sandwich is really good! I also like it as a dip for chips or cracker, and on a plain hamburger. never tried it for fries, but I will experiment next time I get a chance.

Hummus also makes a fine addition to a sandwich.

If you all are so damn smart find me some HP Curry sauce.

Lots of Google results, but they all lead to dead ends.

I like ranch salad dressing on a variety of sandwiches and burgers.

could you not stir a spoonful of curry powder into regular HP sauce?
