Now many friggin networks can "Law and Order" support?

Good, but my favorite is still Law and Order: Bureau of Weights and Measures.

Picture D’Onofrio in a rumpled trenchcoat, imitating Peter Falk:

“Oh, Mister Johnson, one more thing…”

I’ve said this before: I hope the last episode of Criminal Intent climaxes with an interrogation of R. Lee Ermey. Just as D’Onofrio starts hinting that Ermey’s crime was motivated by a lack of love from his parents, Ermey should grab a gun, shoot D’Onofrio and then himself.

Law & Order : Ski Patrol

Law and Order: Evidence Clerks

Tonight: Sergeant Dante and his assistant recatalog the cocaine by purity.
“No, Officer Randall, the coke cut with baby laxative goes in that pile–this pile’s for the stuff cut with powdered milk.”

I love L&O & SUV. The Benson/Stabler team is unbeatable on SVU, and the show is lucky to have Munsch reprising his own kind of quirky cop and Ice T (who is slowly becoming a better actor). I’m not a huge fan of CI though, for all the reasons stated, though I did like it for a while. I’m still haunted to this day by the Serbian rape episode, the one where Goren says at the end: “But she got you,” as he’s holding up a picture of the perps tattoo. After a while it did seem like it was The D’Onfrio Show. I didn’t know it was supposed to be a Sherlock Holmes thing. Maybe I’ll give it another try in this new light.

Damn, I forgot to say…

Law and Order: Port Authority

I used to have a business partner who, at 4:00 PM every weekday, would suddenly interrupt whatever we were doing to exclaim, “It’s time for L&O on A&E!” And then she’d proceed to go and sit in the employee lounge and put A&E on to watch her show. Even if the people there were watching something else. (What were they gonna say? She was part owner of the company.)

Hmmm… of course, that might have something to do with why that company went out of business. :smack:

A Canadian station (Bravo!) shows re-runs of Law & Order and NYPD Blue back-to-back four nights a week, starting at 11:00 PM. Since that’s when I get home from work most days, that works well for me. Perhaps one day I’ll actually catch a current episode, or one of them fancy new-fangled spin-offs.
