I’ll miss the political skits on SNL, especially their take on Terezzzza. Kind of a bummer that Kerry didn’t win in that regard: she would have given them 4 years of material.
My gall bladder doesn’t miss the tension, though.

I really hate to do a “me too” post, but I was amused because I saw the thread title, and immediately thought: “I know - I’ll say hope”. Then I openend the thread and saw that everybody else already said it. :smack:

I know everyone else has already seconded this, and I normally hate to be the 37th person to jump in and agree, but given how heartfelt my agreement is, I can’t do otherwise.
During the next four years, being right will bring no joy.
I’ll also miss Elizabeth Edwards’ brief presence on the national stage. I hope she recovers from her breast cancer, and that we see her again in 2008 and beyond.

Nonsense. That is the only thing that brings you joy. That’s why you condescend obsessively, call your opposition stupid, and hold a grudge when you lose. You want to be right so badly that if a man were lying in a ditch, begging for water while saying that Iraq had WMDs, you would kick him in the head until he admitted his error before you would give him a drop to drink. And then you’d come back here and open a Pit thread about the demon Pubbie you found in wallowing in a ditch, and how you’re glad he knows how it feels to be needy.

Me, I’ll miss the daily phone calls from various celebrities. Prior to this election no famous person had ever called for me. I didn’t even know they had my number! I was feeling so popular that I was considering getting an agent, but since Tuesday my phone has been curiously silent.
