I just did a search on my name (cos it’s 3 a.m. and I’m bored and not quite ready to sleep yet) using the ‘any date’ search parameter.
I was kind of surprised to see how often my name appeared in threads until I realized that a lot of people mis-type ‘technique’.

ON the topic, it peeves me when people refer to me, and don’t use my full user name… When that happens, I can’t search on myself… At least not effectively.

For some reason, the search engine doesn’t recognize my user name as a word…it won’t even do a search. It says “please enter keyword” or something like that.
Which I guess means nobody else can do a search, either! I’m unstalkable!

Yep, I’ve tried doing a ‘psy’ search, since lots of people refer to me as that. I got lots of psycho, psychotic, psychiatry, etc. psychadelic, you get the idea.
Of course, all of the websites out there the reference “Sasquatch” are high-quality. :rolleyes:

Strangely, I don’t have any problem searching my name.

Here I was thinking I had a name that no-one could abbreviate, but then someone had to call me by my name, Matt! I don’t even want to consider how often that would come up…
