Now wait a minute.. a 22 pound STRAY cat?

That cat is no more “stray” than -… well something. Somebody’s feeding Mr. Tubbins! Is it you?

Two comments:

That cat is very friendly. He is used to contact with humans. Hardly a stray.

The talking head commented that “a normal cat weighs 3 to 5 (pounds).” Do these idiots even bother to think about what they are reading? 3 to 5 pounds? What a maroon!

Our cat was 24 lbs. when we finally corralled him. He had been hanging out in the shadows for maybe a year before he actually came up to our door. I’m not saying he was living on birds and mice (in fact, he’s a lousy mouser), but he had serious burrs and he was ornery as all get-out. Someone was feeding him, but he wasn’t being cared for.

He’s a professional napper now. We love him.

That’s one stray cat that will NOT strut.

3 to 5 pounds, right. The bag of catfood in my kitchen says that the average adult cat weighs 7 pounds. My smaller cat, the one who looks so small to me that I can’t believe she’s full grown, weighs 11 pounds. She is lean and mean, with no fat on her. My other cat is 16 pounds, and I’ll admit that she’s heavy.
What the hell is the matter with people?
Oh well, my dad thinks 110 pounds is an average weight for an adult, American woman.

Maybe they were translating 7kg and forgot to do the conversion?
