You can cross off three extremes by going to either the north or south pole and walking in a small circle.
I’m not very well travelled. Outside the UK, my limits are close to the borders of the mediterranean.
My North and East are the same city. Vuokatti, Finland is a small town most people have never heard of that is slightly north of Kajaani, Finland and that is where I went for my honeymoon. The furthest west I’ve been is Las Vegas, NV and the furthest south I’ve been is Corpus Christi, TX.
North: Giant’s Causeway, Northern Ireland.

North (in an airplane): Somewhere just north of Iceland. However the Great Circle runs between New York and London.
North (on land): Edinburgh, Scotland
South: Phillips Island, NSW, Australia.
East: Venice, Italy. - Not counting anywhere in Australia, because I traveled west to get there.
West: Honolulu, Hawaii - Not counting anywhere in Australia, because it’s so far west, it’s east.

West: San Francisco, California, US (1483 miles)
*It’s also about 700 miles north of the Arctic Circle, and a little over 900 miles from the North Pole.
