NSFW Question: Squirting

I have no burden in this matter. None. And in any event, my burden wouldn’t be less than yours. (I always find it silly when people say that, actually. If we are taking opposing views in a matter, in most instances we share the same burden)

Even if it’s 10 years—or 20—it doesn’t change the simple fact that this is a very recent phenomenon. (references to obscure 70’s porn stars not withstanding)

I might be wrong. It’s not a subject that I wish to spend a lot more time researching. I’m hardly an expert. But I’ve read more than a few articles from experts who have come away with more than a few :dubious: from the claim.

It’s urine off a duck’s back for me.

I agree with this.

“PiV sex”? Penis in vagina?

Since you’re so convinced of this, what sort of general question can we help you out with? Cites have still been provided and the goal posts got moved afterwards.

Were you looking to actually have a question answered when you started this thread?

For some strange reason, I’m reminded of a story where one of the characters names was ‘Billy Goat Gruff’…

For now, at least.

That stuff in Porn IS FAKE.

Squirting is a euphemism.

It’s more like a gush or better yet, a glass or body temp water spilled right under you at the appropriate moment.

There’s no force to it.

It just goes …SPLASH!

For those who think it is urine - Yes, no doubt that in porn we really don’t know if it is or isn’t urine, but I can tell you this from personal experience. The only time that I have ever “squirted” (Good god did I really just type that?) I was having sex with my ex and had an intense orgasm via intercourse. I was on top. A lot of something gushed out all over him. My ex had some sexual hangups and wasn’t pleased because he thought I had peed on him. I know my body, this was NOT pee. I could tell by how it came out --virtually no odor, everything about it pointed to something else, but not urine. I was embarrassed because his reaction caused me to be. I tried to tell him that it was not pee, but he didn’t buy it since I had never done this before and I, too, was clueless as to what had just happened. I am absolutely sure that it was not urine. It didn’t happen again. As a matter of fact our sex life went down hill little by little until it was virtually non-existent. I am divorced now and currently with someone who would probably think it was really hot for me to squirt. Not sure exactly how to make that happen again though, but I am doing some research. This thread has been interesting to read and participate in.

Oh, I wanted to add - it was a gush, not a squirt.

Suit yourself. Those with personal experience of it – a group that does not seem to include you – have tried to tell you. I’m done here.

The title of the article is “Concerning Female Ejaculation and the Female Prostate”
In what way does that not address squirting?
The abstract begins:"This paper is based on a study of the centuries-long controversy over female ejaculation."emphasis added

I think you tried the “I’ll eat my hat” argument and now you’re trying to stave off admitting that you’re wrong.
That being the case, I doubt you will accept even academic links, but, nonetheless: Here is a link to an academic paper (Published in 2007) which states
Biochemically, the fluid emitted during orgasm showed all the parameters found in prostate plasma in contrast to the values measured in voided urine.
(Link is to the abstract.)

It’s not piss.

It’s been demonstrated that it was in medical journals. The fact that you weren’t aware of it and that you seem to believe it involves waterfalls shooting across the room is an artifact of your own selective perception.

I think I understand what you’re saying about the porn industry. But the porn industry did not invent female ejaculation any more than it invented bestiality, homosexuality, oral sex, or glory holes.

Well, like Siam Sam, I’ll bow out and agree to disagree.

I think you’re being deluded.

2,000 years according to the article Troppus cited ;).

Not for me. I’ve had orgasmic contractions so hard that my husband was forced out and had to wait until I was done until he could get back in. And I squirt HARD … no delicate trickle of extra fluid here.

This was my experience the one and only time it happened to me. It was just like a sudden and quick leaking fluid. It did not feel like I was urinating. There was no discoloration on the sheets nor a smell of urine after it was dry. It was something different and took me completely by surprise.

Not my SO, FTR.

As I said in the IMHO thread, I was involved with a woman who made instructional videos on female ejaculation–some graphic content, of course, but also lots of talking, anatomy diagrams, personal interviews and anecdotes (from different, everyday women), etc. There wasn’t a time we were together that she didn’t ejaculate at least once, though she was a squirter, often drenching my face and glasses from as much as two feet away. All the other ejaculating women I’ve been with were gushers (volume)–often thanks to her video, which I’d been known to gift on occasion.

It was definitely not pee, though she said that one of the reasons it doesn’t occur more frequently in women is that some of the same pelvic muscles are involved, so women will often fend off their ejaculation because it feels like they’re going to pee, though they really aren’t. As for how recent a phenomenon it allegedly is, she talked about how it dovetailed with women becoming more familiar with their bodies. The Female Orgasm, the G-Spot, self-exploration, toys and masturbation aids, etc. are all subjects that were for decades never seriously discussed in sex ed, rarely handed down from mother to daughter, and were generally not considered socially acceptable topics for discussion. It’s something she said most women are capable of, but often with practice, focus, and trial & error (since women’s paths to climax will vary quite a bit from individual to individual).

I’ve had some training in tantric exercises, so I’ve learned how to have an orgasm without ejaculating. It’s not better, just very different–but still undeniably an O. She said it’s the same with female ejaculation–the O isn’t necessarily better or stronger, it’s just that it drains the body (figuratively & literally) in a different way. However, like my exercises or her instructions, both are an ability that came through lots of experimentation with touch, response, and a little trial & error. With her, not all her orgasms squirted, and in fact, the most satisfying O she said she had were the ones from penetration after her squirt, since so many of her muscles and nerve endings were already highly activated by then. Also, unlike a lot of women, who can come clitorally and don’t need penetration, those who can ejaculate (whether naturally or through practice) usually need some kind of penetration–be it toy, fingers, or phallus.

I can’t speak medically to where the ejaculate comes from, but the taste has always been completely consistent with oral stimulation and the scent, look, and viscosity completely different from urine. I remember once, a few months after giving a friend the tape, she told me she had a surprise for me. She was on top and we were going at it, but at one point, she dismounted and just straddled my body so I could watch–and she came and came and came (she was still stimulating her clit as this happened). It was like a waterfall and really defied belief, but it was an amazing, exciting thing to witness and she said that she’d been practicing, listening to her body and getting good at knowing how her body responded to make it happen. It also completely wiped her out, because it was pretty new for her (the one who did the instructional videos considered squirting foreplay to the Main Event).

I’ve had women ejaculate while I was inside them and others who (from prolonged digital playtime) would flow like a river once they were going, and I’ve never once doubted what it was (the way it stains the sheets and furniture alone is also different from pee). The only times I’ve ever heard of skeptics are from those who haven’t seen or experienced it firsthand. I know there are plenty of stories about how porn will often stack the deck by contriving situations for maximum visual effect, even if it’s not “real.” And I’ve even read of porn stars who, having never done it, just dismiss it as fake or urine or some other behind-the-scenes bait & switch.

But I’ve seen the real deal enough to be a True Believer.

Based on your name you’re obviously a porn director, and we all know porn only shows urine and no genuine female ejaculation what-so-ever, so your input is going to hold very little value in the face of the already dismissed decades (or centuries) old evidence of this phenomenon existing prior to modern days.

Yep, that’s what people say. Scientific evidence is a bit harder to come by.

(bolding mine)

Hmmm… I’m trying hard to recall exactly when you inquired what ***my thoughts ***on the subject were.

Speak for yourself!
