Seriously, I post in all sorts of clothes, usually at work, or just home from, so mostly dressed. Also in boxers or nothing at all on the weekends.
WOAH!! I thought I’d do this thread about what forums people post to, etc. “Nude Posting” was just a cutesy name for it, and now look what has been unearthed! The sordid underbelly of the SDMB. Hardly a pair of pants to be seen. Not only naked posting but naked moderating!
Euty, I see Tuba hasn’t replied to your question… hmmm, makes me think you’re not the only nude SDMB official.
Makes me wonder about Cecil…

I’ve been visiting the boards on & off since its AOL days. I mostly lurk, rarely start threads. I spend most of my time in IMHO, because it’s a nice medium between GQ and MPSIMS. I sometimes cruise th Pit, but I never post there.
Normally I am wearing clothes or pyjamas or at least a robe when I post, but just especially for this post, I got naked. 
I post mostly at night - in MPSIMS - I lurk other places though. I first heard about the straigtdope from watching the tv show on A&E back in the early 90’s. Found the website about a year ago - lurked for a while before joining. I just got “Triumph of the Straightdope” this week and am reading it now. I have upon occasion posted nekkid - one time I thought of something I wanted to post while in the shower and barely dried myself off - much less took the time to dress - before posting. I have never started a thread but I did ask a question in GQ once.
I’ll have to blame ** Drachillix ** for turning me onto the SDMB. He showed it to me for the sig lines and then when there was a particular interesting Greate Debates. I was bored at work, remembered the catchy name,(I am computer help desk at a college computer lab) and the rest is history. I like MPSIMS best but rarely start a thread—I am too busy reading posts! I have posted a thread a time or two, but because I wanted input, which the people of the board were of great help. I usually post from home, because they do pay me to work and students invariably ask me for help, so I can’t get into posting like I can at home, where I am naked, just like I am now.

My friend Catalyst (whose currently in NY for three weeks…I miss you, man sniff) gave me a link to an interesting post one night.
I looked at Great Debates, but they give me a headache! I usually stay in MPSIMS or BBQ Pit.
This has enhanced my life greatly. sniff If only it could enhance my bust size (or sex life) as well…
Have never posted naked. No chance of having a parental unit walking in on me, nosiree.
That tallies with my experience, if it makes anyone feel better. I wrote Cecil a couple of email about a project he’d documented where I was the main designer. Any response? Nope.
Then I was writing troubleshooting for a call center, and I thought: Why not show these guys and girls there’s a bigger world. Where people actually question assumptions. Luckily “The Straight Dope” had gone online. Then I realized the medicine for the patients was also good for the doctor.
My Straight Dope habits are writing from a comfy leather chair, when I’ve finished the daily writing quota.
I spend almost all of my time in the Pit. I love watching arguments. It’s great. Then, MPSIMS. I usually don’t go to the other ones.
I came across this site probably from Bored.com, although I have no clue. It took a while for me to find the message boards (probably from Threadspotting, though). I didn’t lurk for very long. I just have too damn much to say.
Whenever I see an interesting thread, I always share it with my buddy Loverboy. I was the one who brought him here, in fact. He’s more of a lurker. But anyway, we always discuss you guys in private…hehehe! 
I spend all of my life here, though. Damn. You guys are one hella smart group.
I read all the forums but post mostly in MPSIMS. I read all the forums several times a night if I’m at work which is most of the time. Obviously, I don’t post nude from work.
However, if I am posting from home, I am usually completely naked. In fact, I’m at home now…

I can only post from home, and I’m usually in my pajamas if I’m on the computer. My pajamas consist of a random tee shirt and my Happy Monkey Pants[sup]TM[/sup].
I usually post in MPSIMS and IMHO, and occasionally in The Pit and GQ. I don’t think I’ve ever posted in GD.

I heard about this site from my friend who told me about it. I remember the first article I read was, “Does a Duck’s quack Echo.”
I just read columns for a long time. Registered in the message boards after awhile to ask a question. Then lurked for a REALLY long time. I still mostly lurk, but I’m not shy about posting if I have something to say.
Mostly I read IMHO and MPSIMS. I lurk in GQ’s and every so often take in the Pit or GD. I post almost exclusively from work, so I’m sitting in a cramped cubicle and talking to customers at the same time thinking about whatever querry is posted in IMHO.
I post naked on occasion… but moreso when I’m in StraightDope chat.
I mostly go into MPSIMS and the PIT, nowadays. I used to go into GQ more, but 90% of the time I do someone has provided/nailed a question I know, like lightning to a lightning rod. I check out IMHO, ATMB, and GD a few times a month.
I originially found the board through AOL. (Years before I read some SD books, which is actually saying something because my attention span usually doesn’t get me through an entire book!)

Except there was this one time when I was talking on the phone to my friend Xploder and I had just gotten out of the shower, and I was wearing a big fluffy towel. I dared him to start a “Hey, Persephone’s Naked!” thread, and he did.
Nekkid right now, well mostly nekkid, I’ve got a sarong thingy on. I love these things when it’s warm.
Let’s see. . .I found the Straight Dope a while ago as I wandered around on Bored.com. After browsing the archives for a while, I decided to see what the message board was all about. I mostly stick to IMHO and MPSIMS. I check in fairly often (though not as much as it seems some of the more, uh, dedicated members do). I just about never post anything though, topic-starting or otherwise. Haven’t posted nude as far as I can recall. I also introduced two people to this board: AFireInside and Searching for Truth (who I’m certain is eventually gonna have a millionth post party). Well, that’s my existence on this board in a nutshell.
